2004.05.16 @ 19:48:13 One year later...

So graduation was this week. It marks the one year oos (out of school) mark for me. Perhaps I could call it the OYOOSM. One nice thing about not having moved out of Phoenix is I get to go to graduation parties for my younger friends, so this week involved Peggy & Andy's graduation parties, both good times. Got to see some folks I haven't seen in a while, due to the relative business of people's lives.

I also realized that its been 10 years since I graduated 8th grade. In so many ways it wasn't that long ago. When I think of how my life is different now than it was then, I wonder what the next years will bring, and how my life will change, and how I will change. Looking back, my current "life" isn't all that surprising. What I mean by that is those who knew me back then probably wouldn't be surprised that I'm working as a software engineer and playing an instrument at church on sundays. With my general lack of interest in dating throughout the high school years, its not too surprising that I'm still single, and not having much luck on that front.

In other news of things happenening outside the confines of my brain, Tim is staying with us for another day or so until head heads off to Europe (round 1). I'm forseeing this to be a very boring summer for the most part. Its sad to see so many of my friends leaving.
