Yesterday was an exciting day... presidential debate and all not too far from where I live. I didn't watch it, I'm sad to say, but not really. Instead I was at Fiddlesticks mini golfing, or riding the go-carts. It was fun, and good chance to get to know some of the high schoolers a little better. It also meant I didn't do any housework, woohoo!

Speaking of housework, I mowed my whole yard today (and edged, etc.) It always amazes me who I fill up my bagger even thou it looks like my grass isn't growing and I'm not cutting much at all off. Maybe its just that I haven't got used to this type of grass. I also mowed up a bunch of leaves from my recent hedge trimming, in an attempt to keep the wind from feeding them to my pool. Other house related news, I finally got my receiver, it is in good form. I haven't had time to hook it all up yet, but it seems to work ok with the FM radio. I also bought some anodized pots/pans from Costco, $200 for a Circulon brand set. They seem really nice, and I love how I hardly need to dry them after washing because the water doesn't stick. Compared to sets at Linens & Things, these were a steal. Oh, and the other thing I bought (which I eluded to in the last entry), was a massive drill bit set. I broke one bit while putting in my new locks, and my drill bit set left something to be desired, and for $30 it was hard to pass up - keep in mind this is a drill bet set from costco, so we're talking a serious number of bits. And not the kind that add up to a byte.
