Typhoon is now back online, and happily (at least, as happy as a computer can be) sitting beside my desk. Thanks to the improved DNS settings, in the amount of time it took me to drive from my bro's house the DNS had propegated and was ready to go. Also, Typhoon Cam is back.
In wholely unrelated news, here's some weekend update. Saturday I slept in (wee!), woke up, went to church to help with the concession stand for the Karate tourney we were hosting. It was good times, and I think I got a bit of a sunburn on my head since I waas standing in the sun helping run the grill most the time. The rest of the day I spent putting things away in my house (finally!). The boxes are now manageable, several still to unpack onto bookshelves, but I haven't fully decided where those are living yet. Sat night we went to Honey Bear's (bbq place) for Al's "going away" dinner (but he'll be back every 3 weekends). I was a little dissappointed given the fact that everybody told me that it was the best bbq place in town. Well, frankly it wasn't that good. I guess my only option is to order online from zarda, but that's quite expensive, so I'll just have to wait till christmas and bring back a few slabs of ribs. Or, I could start my own restaurant. Maybe next month.
Today was church as normal, then there was a silent auction fundraiser for Lauren Reed. I stayed around to supervise some of the games that were setup to help keep the children occupied. I also won one of the items I bid on, but it's a Christmas present for someone so no posting what it is :).
