I realized something today... I haven't done the same thing for Thanksgiving two years in a row since I moved out to Arizona for college. In fact, only one time have I celebrated thanksgiving at the same place as a previous year. By the way, that's 7 years I've been in Arizona for Thanksgiving, almost a third of my life. Funny thou, whenever I hear Thanksgiving my mind goes back to the farm houes in Alma Kansas, with all the cousins out splitting wood.
A quick rundown on some recent events:
- Thanksgiving I spent with the Rosenbaum's, which involved two meals - one with each side of the family.
- Friday was the ASU vs. UA game with Bryan, sat in the front row. 23-20 - field goal at the end of the game to win!
- Friday night went ot see Harry Potter w/ Tim
- Saturday morning I painted the "empty room" - still need to do all the trim work
- Saturday afternoon went to watch VC vs. ALA state championship 2A football game. VC won fairly easily.
- Sunday afternoon will hopefully involve finishing the painting, or at least get a lot done.
