Went up to Camp Aloma in Prescott with the Youth Group this past weekend (Friday -> Sunday). Good times as always. I did an hour long bible study, and I had enough material to make it an hour and a half. And I was worried it would be too short... Played Capture the Flag, and enjoyed the not 110 degree weather.

Arizona is burning up again... Literally. Another big fire near Oak Creek.

My pool is the most tempermental thing. Talked with my pool guy again today, as we've been battling the algae growth which happens every summer no matter what we do. He's checked all the chemicals in the water (which we drained and replaced in the spring). Everything checks out ok, yet the algae grows anyway. He's suggesting trying either a salt or copper ion based system, the later being the preference. I'm very tempted to give it a try, although its quite expensive. Chemical costs for dealing with this algae isn't cheap either.

And lastly I'm still busting up the tile in the bathroom. Getting the glue that adheres to the concrete up is the hard part, and I've found no good method other than working at it with a scraper and a hammer. The tile is comes up pretty easily with the 4 pound hammer smashing it to pieces.
