A note about the title, it is in reference to two songs, one by Ice Cube and the other by The Ataris, both of which are saying that it is a good day if you don't have to use your a.k. Anywho, today was a good day. Although starting class at 08:30 isn't my idea of fun, moreso it's the waking up at 07:30 and rushing to get to campus on time. But, it's very much worth it, I've been waiting to take a class on security my whole academic career.

My next class is not so fun, the only saving grace is we will talk about Neural Networks a little bit sometime eventually. The class is on decision making. We have lots of articles to read for every class, most of which are boring and/or obvious. After that class I went to catch the end of The Ataris playing on Hayden Lawn. I thought I'd check them out, since for some reason people automatically think that I wouldn't like punk rock music (despite my liking of most any good music). Unfortunatly, the audio setup was much less than ideal due to constraints of the campus. The songs sounded ok, and the band was entertaining to watch. Once I got home I listened to a few that Tim had queued up on my computer for listening to earlier, and was much more impressed with them. I gathered a few from him to add to my collection, mostly their newer songs.

That reminds me, tomorrow I need to make some CDs for the road trip from Dallas.
