Good news, illness and soreness is basically all gone, just a touch of a sore throat left. Other good news, most of the joints are sealed, bushes in front of the house trimmed, and new blinds put up in the back window (which required some caulking and painting as well). That window looks *much* better now. One lesson learned... buy the caulk designed for painting if you're going to paint over it. I know it sounds obvious, but the problem lies with the assumption... assuming it would say "not paintable", but this is not the case.
