Remember when birthday cards were funny, just because they were funny? So I was looking over some cards, and I really only found 1 card that I found funny. I have one word of advice to card writers: there's not much funny about the birthday card itself. Opening the card backwards isn't funny in and of itself. The "All you're going to get is this card" card, that's pretty much overdone too... if you want to do it, fine, but you need something else to be funny, because that just isn't. And lastly, and this is important, there's really no humor in a card describing how difficult it is for someone to pick out a card. This only goes to prove how bad cards are! Now I'm no card writer, but I don't do it for a living either.
