I'm watching boston legal, one of my current favorite tv shows. That really has nothing to do with anything. I just finished putting in a new timer on my pool pump. The old one would turn the pump on at the set time, but not back off. That also has little to do with anything.
What does have to do with something, happened yesterday on my way home. So, there's the troubling intersection where the highway exit ramp meets the access road right before meeting a major cross street. The access road narrows to one lane, and there's one lane that comes off the highway. From there, you get 4 lanes at the intersection, the highway ramp splits to a left turn, and a straight + left turn. The access road splits to a straight + right turn, and a right turn lane. Now, people coming down the access road often don't yield (they should yield all lanes to the ramp), and often move into the lanes to the left without looking and signaling. So I'm always cautious, and generally annoyed with people not following the signs. Now, I'm coming off the highway, and wanting to go straight thru the light. So, I stay in the right of the two lanes. I don't signal, as I have no intention of moving into the other lanes which are already full from the access road. This guy, in an old beater, who moves over from the access lane to the far left turn lane, without using his turn signal (or maybe it was just broken), rolls down the passenger side window, and proceed to yell out the window to me: "Use your blinker!". Um, I don't need to? I'm not changing lanes? I'm simply entering one of the lanes available to me.
Anyway, there's plenty of other annoying driver stories, but that one takes the cake. Which makes me wonder, where "takes the cake" comes from.
