For those of you unaware (i don't think there's any out there), Tim has left the building. He's off to switzerland, no doubt preparing for my visit in May (ha... ha....... um). This weekend has been brought to you by the letter C, C for Clean, and the number 2, 2 for two rooms. Tim's old room, which had a few items left behind, some things were given to the trash bin, a few to mr. recycle, and a few to the room of storage. Once that was sorted out, all the furniture left the room and is now occupying the "big empty room". Mr. Hoover went to town picking up all the small things left on the floor.. and a penny because i was too lazy to pick it up... Mr. Hoover wasn't pleased at that, but he sucked it up and pushed forward. Next was the master bedroom, which had an assortment of tools and new fixtures (from the remodeling project), bookshelf, bed, and some other random things that just haven't found a place to live yet. Most of these things found a new temporary home, many of them in the "big empty room" - which isn't quite so empty at this point. I did a mattress swap while I was at it, as I haven't been sleeping as well (or more precisely, waking up without soreness) since moving to the other side of the house. Now I'm ready to call up the carpet cleaners and get them to come on out and take care of those two rooms and the living room, those three being the only rooms that have seen any real use in the last two years since the carpet was installed. Woot. I wonder if they're open tomorrow.
