Adam and I went to the ASU at USC women's basketball game to watch Joy play. Kristen had to stay home due to a nasty cold. The game was awesome and Adam was very intrigued with all the sounds and lights and people. I was a bit nervous about taking care ocf him away from the house for basically all of the afternoon, but it worked out just fine. In fact, I couldn't have asked for an easier time! It made me think about some of the things that are good and bad about Adam at this age.
First, some good. Almost everything outside the house is new, and intriguing. He eats at predictable times, and is excited to eat cereal, fruits, and veggies. He can entertain himself for a good amount of time on the floor, or in a bouncer. He's not able to crawl yet so he doesn't go too far too fast when you put him down. His temperment is more predictable.
And some bad. His poops are very stinky, and pretty solid now so we have to dump the solid in the toilet. We have to worry about what to feed him and introducing new foods. He's not so easily calmed by riding in the stroller (it's still better than nothing - just not a sure thing anymore.) We have to be careful where we leave him since he can roll into danger. He still has a mean cry when he gets upset.
