2003.07.20 @ 02:24:50 Europe and a new TV

I've noticed I almost always have to go back and check my last journal entries 'cause I can't remember what I wrote about last, and I don't want to repeat myself. Also, I generally don't get things into my journal before I've told most of the people that read this anyway. Here's goes.

I'm heading to Italy in October for a cousin's wedding. My brother & I have booked tickets to travel from Phoenix to London on October 16th, then we'll head to Brussels where our old neighbors are stationed on an army base. We'll spend a day or two there, and then head to Pisa and then down to Florence (possibly stopping in Frankfurt for a day, that's still up in the air). The whole trip will be about 11 days. I'm looking forward to it, after seeing pictures from somebody's recent trip I am anxious to get outta the country soon. I am grateful that I'll be able to take off work so soon.

I bought a new TV today. I was tired of looking for good prices, and ended up going to Fry's Electronics, as they're local so it's easy to return if there's any issues. They were considerably cheaper than any other local stores I could find, but I could've beat the price going online. It's pretty spiffy, so far I'm pleased. I do need to get the computer to output to the TV at the proper resolution, still trying to figure that out. It fills the space we have for a TV perfectly. Definitly going to have to schedule a movie night soon.
